Dialer comparison
Trellus vs. WAVV: Five-Line Dialing Across Your Sales Stack or a Three-Line Dialer Embedded in HighLevel
Trellus and WAVV both let reps power dial, and dial several numbers at once, from GoHighLevel (HighLevel) contacts without exporting a CSV. They differ in how each gets into HighLevel, how many lines a rep can dial, what else comes with the dialer and how discounts work. This guide compares the documented workflows so an agency or sales team can test the one that fits.
Published by Trellus, which has a commercial interest in this comparison. WAVV's plans page, product pages, terms and help center were checked October 30, 2026. WAVV capabilities below come from WAVV's own website and help center; we did not test a WAVV account. WAVV's sources are not fully consistent: its plans page lists "1 free phone number," while its help center says WAVV numbers cost $1 per month each through the WAVV Wallet, and its HubSpot Marketplace listing shows a $59 Preview Line plan that the plans page does not list. We use the plans page for prices. This is a workflow comparison, not a performance benchmark.
The short answer
WAVV is a power dialer that an agency installs from the HighLevel App Marketplace into its sub-accounts; its $149 Multi Line plan dials up to three lines per seat, and it adds two-way texting from WAVV numbers, unlimited minutes and discounts of up to 15% for team size and 30% for annual billing. Trellus is a Chrome extension that power dials, or parallel dials up to five numbers at once, inside GoHighLevel and the other CRMs, sales engagement platforms and spreadsheets it supports, with real-time AI coaching on its Business plan. Choose WAVV for a HighLevel-centered agency that wants texting and term discounts from one vendor; choose Trellus when reps call from more than one platform, want more than three lines or need live AI guidance during calls.
If your reps make a small number of researched calls and HighLevel's own calling tools already log outcomes where managers look, you may not need either.
Trellus vs. WAVV at a glance
| Decision | Trellus | WAVV |
|---|---|---|
| Where reps dial from | A Chrome extension beside a supported CRM, sales engagement platform or Google Sheet. In GoHighLevel it starts from the Contacts Smart List on screen, or from an Opportunity pipeline or stage view confirmed during setup. | In HighLevel, an app installed from the Agency App Marketplace into chosen sub-accounts and opened from a WAVV button in the sidebar. Reps load selected contacts or an Opportunities pipeline, or work Call Boards fed by CRM tags and pipelines. In HubSpot (beta) it runs in WAVV's Chrome extension. |
| Dialing modes and lines | Power (one number at a time) and Power + Parallel (up to five numbers at once, connecting the rep with whoever answers). | Single Line power dialing, or Multi Line at 1, 2 or 3 lines per seat. Standard, Advanced and Answer Boost modes; Answer Boost tries to connect the rep only to live answers. |
| CRM and sales engagement integrations | 28 integrations. Dialing in 20: power and parallel in 19, including GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Close, Attio, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Google Sheets, and power dialing only in Nextiva. AI coaching in 8 phone systems such as Five9 and RingCentral. | WAVV documents HighLevel (including white-labeled accounts), HubSpot (beta since August 2026), REDX, PropertyRadar and Wise Agent, plus a Zapier app and an API with webhooks. A WAVV account works with one CRM at a time. |
| What is saved in GoHighLevel | A contact note with the selected outcome and, when available, call purpose, summary and transcript link; a selected tag when the rep completes the result; and a contact-linked Trellus Callback Task with a due date. | Dispositions are applied as contact tags, and recordings appear in the contact's Conversation and Notes panels. Premium workflow triggers (Call Started, Call Ended, Call Recorded) can start HighLevel workflows; HighLevel bills them at $0.01 per execution. |
| Phone numbers and caller ID | Power includes 5 additional numbers and Power + Parallel 8, with spam remediation. Calls from your geographically closest number by default; bring your own number; an admin can register a caller ID name after spam remediation. | Numbers are $1 each per month, paid from a prepaid Wallet. Spam Protection carrier registration is included on all plans. Local presence matches area code, then state. Smart Rotation is in beta. WAVV does not offer caller ID name (CNAM). |
| Countries | Calls the countries your account is set up for, with caller IDs from a specific country. | US and Canadian area codes. WAVV does not sell Canadian numbers, but you can add your own. |
| Texting and mobile | Texting is not listed in Trellus plans. Trellus runs in Google Chrome on a Mac or Windows computer. | Messenger sends and receives SMS from WAVV numbers after A2P 10DLC registration ($19 registration fee plus ongoing fees). An iPhone app takes calls on WAVV numbers. |
| Coaching | Real-time AI coaching with a live transcript and suggested responses on Business. Salesfloor managers can listen, whisper and join. Unlimited AI practice calls on Power + Parallel. | Managers can listen, whisper or barge into live calls. Call scripts with merge fields. AI transcript summaries and 1 to 5 Call Quality Scores after recorded calls. We did not find in-call AI suggestions in WAVV's documentation. |
| Pricing model | Published: Power $99.99 and Power + Parallel $149.99 per seat per month; Business is custom. No seat minimum, no free trial, no published term or volume discounts. | Published: Single Line $99 and Multi Line $149 per seat per month, with unlimited minutes. 5% to 15% off for 5 or more seats, 15% off quarterly and 30% off annual billing. 7-day free trial. |
| Best fit | Teams that call from several platforms, or from one WAVV does not document, that want up to five lines or live AI coaching. | HighLevel agencies that want one marketplace install across sub-accounts, texting and calling from the same numbers, and discounted annual pricing. |
Getting into HighLevel: a marketplace app or a Chrome extension
WAVV is installed once by an agency admin. Its install guide has the admin open the Agency App Marketplace, choose which sub-accounts get WAVV (all by default) and add more later; a WAVV button then appears in each sub-account's sidebar. WAVV's billing FAQ says the marketplace app is free and payment goes through WAVV, not HighLevel, so cancelling HighLevel does not cancel WAVV. Its pricing update says one WAVV subscription covers a team across sub-accounts and is charged by seat, not by sub-account, and its integrations page says the app works across white-labeled accounts. WAVV is an independent company and not part of HighLevel.
Trellus is a Chrome extension each rep installs and signs in to. On GoHighLevel it works on standard HighLevel domains and on compatible agency-branded domains once Activate Everywhere site access is enabled and the exact domain is checked. It starts from the active location and the Contacts Smart List on screen, keeps that list's filters and sort order, and uses a valid primary or additional phone number on the contact. When the fresh-lead option is on, new leads can join an active Smart List call block. Agencies that want the dialer under their own name can scope a separate Trellus white-label workspace, including sign-in, support and billing responsibilities.
The record left behind differs too. WAVV's Call Boards move leads through stages with IF/THEN automations and require a disposition after each call; when several agents dial one board, a contact being dialed is locked so others skip it. In HighLevel, WAVV applies dispositions as contact tags that the agency configures, and shows recordings in the Conversation and Notes panels. Trellus adds a contact note, applies a selected tag when call tagging is enabled and creates a callback task assigned to the rep when their HighLevel identity is available. AI fills in the result and summary, and no-answers, voicemails and wrong numbers are logged automatically by default.
Three lines or five, and what happens when someone answers
WAVV caps multi-line dialing at three on purpose. Its power dialer page places WAVV between a power dialer and a parallel dialer, saying three lines keeps reps talking without the dropped calls and delays of dialing ten numbers at once. On Multi Line, each Call Board stage can use 1, 2 or 3 lines. WAVV says reps connect on every call, including voicemails, so they always hear the greeting, unless they turn on voicemail skipping. Its Answer Boost mode dials up to three contacts in the background and connects only when it detects a live answer; WAVV notes a slight delay after the first "Hello?" while it decides. If two people answer, WAVV connects the first and plays your recorded Callback Message to the other, then calls them back next. A beta Double Dial setting redials numbers that did not answer.
Trellus Power calls one number at a time. Power + Parallel calls up to five numbers at once and connects the rep with whoever answers. Hot Numbers can order an eligible queue by estimated pickup likelihood. On eligible parallel calls, Trellus waits for the voicemail tone to play a recorded message, and reps can record a separate introduction for phone call screeners. By default Trellus dials between 8 AM and 6 PM in each prospect's local time and holds back Do Not Call numbers; WAVV offers optional Timezone Protection with safe hours set by area code, and its own Do Not Call list.
More lines suit large, prepared lists where most calls go unanswered; a promised callback is usually better made one number at a time. Neither line count guarantees a conversation, so compare connected conversations with the intended person, not dials.
Numbers, texting and coaching
Phone numbers and spam flags
WAVV numbers are paid from the WAVV Wallet, a prepaid balance with required auto-recharge, at $1 per number per month; a trial includes $10 of Wallet funds. Spam Protection is included on every plan: WAVV registers numbers with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile and requests removal of flags. It requires a US-based business or sole proprietor with an SSN or EIN, and WAVV suggests about 100 calls per number per day. A Number Health report tracks flags, beta Smart Rotation can rest numbers and buy replacements up to a spending limit, and Sticky Numbers keep one number for each engaged lead. WAVV supports US and Canadian area codes and does not offer CNAM.
Trellus includes 5 additional numbers on Power and 8 on Power + Parallel. You can search by area code, state or city, or bring your own number. An admin completes spam remediation, first STIR/SHAKEN business verification and then the Free Caller Registry, and can then register a caller ID name; whether it shows depends on the prospect's carrier. Each number shows Clean, Warning, Flagged or Untested from roughly weekly checks, with its dials and connect rate. Trellus can call the countries your account is set up for.
Texting and mobile
WAVV Messenger sends and receives SMS from WAVV numbers inside HighLevel without the extension. Sending requires A2P 10DLC registration, which costs $19 plus ongoing campaign and per-message fees from the Wallet and often takes 10 to 15 days. WAVV notes that Messenger texts do not appear in HighLevel's conversation panel. Its mobile app is supported on iPhone. Trellus does not list texting or a mobile app; callbacks ring in the Chrome tab running Trellus, or at a forwarding number you set.
Coaching during and after calls
WAVV's team monitoring lets owners, managers, admins and coaches listen to a rep's live call, whisper to the rep or barge in. Reps can open call scripts with merge fields during calls. With recording on, WAVV adds AI transcript summaries and Call Quality Scores from 1 to 5 for conversion probability, rapport, questioning, engagement and sentiment, after the call.
Trellus's Business plan adds real-time AI coaching: a live transcript and suggested responses while the rep is still on the call, in English, Spanish, French, German or Dutch. On the Salesfloor, a manager can listen, request a whisper that only the rep hears, or join. Power + Parallel includes unlimited AI practice calls in 17 languages and variants, graded after each session.
Where each fits
Choose Trellus when
- Reps call from more than HighLevel, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Close or Google Sheets. WAVV says an account works with one CRM at a time.
- Your lists are large enough that up to five lines per rep matters.
- You want live AI suggestions during calls (Business), AI practice with parallel dialing, a registered caller ID name or calling outside the US and Canada.
Choose WAVV when
- Your agency runs on HighLevel and wants one marketplace install pushed to chosen sub-accounts, with no extension for reps to install and seats billed across sub-accounts.
- You want texting, Sticky Numbers and an iPhone app from the same vendor as the dialer, with unlimited minutes.
- Three lines are enough and you want the lower published price, annual or volume discounts, or a 7-day free trial.
- You want to refer clients through WAVV's partner program for a recurring commission, or your team already uses REDX, PropertyRadar or Wise Agent, where WAVV is built in.
Keep what you have when
Your current calling already reaches people and logs outcomes where managers look. A new dialer will not fix a weak list, an unclear disposition set or an unowned callback process.
Compare the cost of the same scope
Both vendors publish per-seat prices. The figures below use only those published prices and WAVV's published discounts; taxes and usage are excluded.
| Scope | Trellus | WAVV |
|---|---|---|
| 1 rep, one line, monthly | $99.99 (Power, 5 additional numbers included) | $99 (Single Line), plus $1 per number per month |
| 1 rep, multi-line, monthly | $149.99 (Power + Parallel, up to five lines, 8 additional numbers included) | $149 (Multi Line, up to three lines), plus $1 per number per month |
| 10 reps, multi-line, monthly | $1,499.90 | $1,341 (10% volume discount), plus numbers |
| 10 reps, multi-line, annual | $1,499.90 (no published annual discount) | $894 per month, billed annually (10% volume plus 30% annual), plus numbers |
On published list prices, WAVV costs less at each scope above, and the gap widens with annual billing and larger teams. Trellus's price includes up to five lines and a set of phone numbers; its pages do not publish a price for numbers beyond those included. WAVV's plans page lists one free phone number while its help center bills every number at $1, so confirm which applies. WAVV suggests about one number per 100 daily calls, so 10 reps making 250 calls a day would need about 25 numbers, or $25 a month. Other WAVV costs to price are Messenger registration and message fees and HighLevel's $0.01 charge per premium trigger; WAVV says its dialer bypasses HighLevel's LC phone charges. WAVV includes unlimited minutes, while Trellus plans include standard (Power) or high (Power + Parallel) dialing limits described in its Terms. Live AI coaching and team analytics are on Trellus Business, which is custom-priced; see Trellus pricing.
Check the terms as well. WAVV offers month-to-month billing; it refunds a charge only if you ask within 7 days and have placed no calls or texts in that time, once per account, and its numbers are removed when you cancel. Trellus single-seat plans can pause or cancel in Billing, larger plans email billing, and numbers may be released when a plan is cancelled.
Test before you commit
- Install where reps actually work. Use one HighLevel sub-account, including your agency-branded domain if you have one, and sign in as a rep rather than the admin.
- Dial the same Smart List. Run three lines in WAVV and up to five in Trellus. Note the delay after a prospect answers, voicemail handling, and what each prospect hears when two people answer at once.
- Reopen the contact. Confirm the outcome, notes, tags, recording or transcript link and callback landed where managers report from, with the right owner and due date.
- Check numbers and caller ID. Count the numbers you will need, complete spam registration, and call back a number you dialed from to see where it rings.
- Price the full scope. Include seats, billing term, phone numbers, texting, workflow triggers, coaching and the cancellation and refund terms.
