Free team planning tool

Make a plan for your next call block.

Turn rep time and your own calling rates into a team plan. See how many attempts, conversations, and booked meetings your next block could support.

No email required. Export your plan. Your inputs stay in this page.

A useful plan starts with a useful list.

Give the team one clear audience, one calling window, and one thing to learn. Then use the block to improve the next one.

1

Before: decide what you're testing

Choose the accounts or contacts, check the phone data, and set aside the preparation time. Pick a specific opener, objection, or next-step question to work on.

2

During: keep the work in view

Reps call from the selected list and record outcomes. A manager can use the team's live Salesfloor to listen, spot a coaching moment, and keep the block moving.

3

After: replace guesses with results

Record attempts, conversations, and bookings in the exported plan. Track held and qualified meetings separately. Use those actual rates when planning the next comparable block.

What the planner calculates

Calling time is the block length minus preparation and wrap-up. Team capacity is that calling time multiplied by the number of reps.

Attempts = team calling hours × attempts per hourConversations = attempts × conversation rateBookings = conversations × booking rate

Attempt capacity rounds down to a whole attempt. Required attempts and team blocks round up. A team block means all selected reps working one block of the same length—not one rep-hour.

The calculation holds your rates constant. It does not predict the effect of a new dialer, multiply performance by a line count, or estimate revenue. Compare calling modes with the power versus parallel dialing guide.

Before you use the numbers

What counts as a conversation?

Use your team's consistent definition of a live prospect conversation. Exclude voicemail, ringing, and wrong numbers. If your reporting uses a different definition, enter the rate that matches this calculation.

Can I use it for power or parallel dialing?

Yes. Enter your observed attempts per rep-hour for the mode and workflow you use. Do not multiply a power-dialing rate by the number of parallel lines; conversation time still uses the rep's attention.

What if we don't have reliable rates yet?

Keep the example labeled as a hypothesis. Run a small call block, record what happened, and update the plan. A small sample is useful for planning a next test, not for claiming a stable benchmark.

Are my inputs saved or sent to Trellus?

No. The planner calculation runs in your browser. It does not send or store the numbers you enter. You choose whether to download or print them. The site's general privacy practices still apply.
