POWER DIALER

Power dialer for your CRM

A power dialer calls one number at a time from your contact list, so reps stop entering numbers by hand. Trellus adds it to your CRM or sales engagement platform through a Chrome extension, so reps keep calling from the lists and queues they already work.

Review the contact, make the call and log the outcome before moving to the next person. The Power plan is $99.99 a month and includes voicemail drop, 5 additional phone numbers with spam remediation and power dialing on all supported platforms, including Google Sheets and Clay.

For supported CRMs and sales engagement platforms. No seat minimum.

THE SHORT ANSWER

What is a power dialer?

A power dialer is outbound calling software that calls one number at a time from a contact list. It removes manual number entry while giving the rep a single contact to review, call and log before continuing.

WHEN IT FITS

When is a power dialer the right choice?

When each contact needs a closer read: callbacks, warm leads and accounts you have researched. For a prepared list where waiting through rings is the real cost, a parallel dialer may fit better.

STEP BY STEP

How the Trellus power dialer works.

  1. Choose your queue. Start from a list, task queue, sequence step or report in your CRM or sales engagement platform.
  2. Review the next contact. Check the previous conversation, the selected phone number and the reason for the call.
  3. Call one number. Trellus places the call without manual number entry, and smart caller ID picks your best available number.
  4. Handle what answers. Be ready for a person, a voicemail or a gatekeeper. Use voicemail drop to leave a message you recorded before calling.
  5. Confirm the result. Review the notes, choose the outcome and record the agreed next action.
  6. Continue when ready. Move to the next contact once the record is right.

CHOOSE HOW YOU CALL

Power dialer vs. parallel dialer vs. predictive dialer.

Choose power dialing when you need to review each contact before making the call. Use parallel dialing to reach people on a prepared outbound list. Trellus does not offer predictive dialing.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a parallel dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time. A parallel dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the rep to whoever answers. Parallel dialing is included in Power + Parallel at $149.99 per seat per month.

What is the difference between a power dialer and an auto dialer?

Auto dialer is the broad term for software that places calls automatically. A power dialer is one kind: it works through a list one call at a time, for one rep. See the Trellus auto dialer.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one contact at a time. A predictive dialer dials ahead of available agents based on a forecast, then sends the answered call to the next available agent. Trellus does not offer predictive dialing.

Can I drop a pre-recorded voicemail?

Yes. Voicemail drop is included in the Power plan. Record named voicemail messages before you call.

Do I need a new CRM or new phone numbers?

No new CRM is needed. You start from your existing list in a supported platform. Search by area code, state or city in Trellus settings and add the number you want, or bring a number you already have. Numbers you bring count toward your plan’s number limit.
